OMG I should be asleep. I thought I’d be asleep right now, but alas the mind wanders. Anyways, in an attempt to make myself busy, I checked my email for the 100th time. I don’t know why I check my email so much as all I get is rubbish mail. Don’t get me wrong, maybe once in a blue moon a real human will email me – but hardly ever. Anyway, a while back I signed up for these “Abraham Hicks” daily quotes, and today I decided to read one:

Is it reality, or is it not reality? All things are reality. Even if only one is imagining it, it is a reality in that the thought has been offered and someone, who has the ability to translate that vibration, will perceive it. It must be fair to say that anything that can be perceived must be reality. Because, as creators, your reality depends upon what you are willing to imagine and allow.

- Not too bad…

Reading this gives me great comfort in knowing that all those daydreams I have about money might somehow be turning into reality this very instant. But in saying that, I do worry about those not so good thoughts I entertain now and then.  You know, the ‘i-wish-s/he-would-choke-on-something-and-die’ ones?  Yeah…but seriously, I’d hate for those thoughts to be turned into reality.  Which is why I really need to focus on how I think and feel.  Turn all that pent up anger into something constructive and well, lovingish.

Anyway, this is just mindless rambling of someone who is past being tired. Just one last thing though, during my daily internet wanders I came across this site where people submit prayers. It appealed to me so I tried it, wrote a prayer and sent it in. Not long after I received prayers of support from others on the website. I’m not totally religious, but really, it made my day…try it out sometime…

Thoughts June 25, 2007

I think I’ve finally snapped out of the ‘mood’ I’ve been in for a long time.  Woke up feeling the need for something to change.  By that I mean, must change my feelings and thoughts.  Haven’t been following my intentions for a while,  so today I put out some new and improved ones to the universe.  I don’t usually get stuck on the ‘intending’ part – but more so on the ‘receiving’ bit.  I’m going to make the best effort to work on this and to just let go of the things that are blocking my move forward.  Anyways, I know I shouldn’t be focusing on the negative things in my life so will from now on try for a better outlook and think about the things I should be grateful for.  I won’t write down my intentions here, but will definitely write about the outcomes as I’m sure they are unfolding at this very moment

~ Polar Bears ~ June 24, 2007

After a cold and uneventful night last night – managed to sleep in this morning, hooray! Actually woke up, had lunch then snuggled back in bed with Ezra It’s still cold today and our heater is looking worse for wear. Felt a bit dizzy and disorientated earlier, think it may be the first signs of the flu – boo hoo. Why is it I always get the flu during my holidays???

Ezra and I watched Open Season again today and was thinking about bears, polar bears in particular. That’s probably because in the back of mind was “Lost”. Anyway, just had a quick look and found some cool facts about polar bears…

• Even though a polar bears fur looks white, it’s actually colourless and made with hollow tubes. The reason the bear looks white is because the rough inner surface of the tubes make light scatter and reflect at many different angles which gives the white appearance;
• If you spray an antiseptic spray on a polar bear, its fur will turn purple;
• Only pregnant polar bears hibernate;
• Apolar bears liver has so much Vitamin A that if a human ate it it could be fatal;
• They’re awesome swimmers!  They’ve been known to swm more than 60 miles without resting;
• They can eat as much as 10% of their body weight in less than one hour (hmmm….sounds familiar)
• The only predator known it polar bears are stinky humans;
• Churchill, Manitoba in Canada is known as the “Polar Bear Capital of the World”.  Cool huh?

Saturday 23rd June… June 23, 2007

It’s cold again and our heater has been going non-stop since last week…Anyway, we didn’t go to soccer today – too cold. Was happy to be able to sleep in this morning until there was a knock at the door – two kids selling apples. Poor kids, they looked really cold! Too bad I had no cash on me. Hmmm, personally I’d never send my children out to sell apples on a day like this!

Since then have been glued to the computer, trying to organise our weekend. By the looks of things, will only leave the house once today, other than that – this day calls for blankets and lots of socks. Oh, and lots of comfort food, i.e, McDonalds and the like!!!
